Yellowman, it must be stated, that he recently has not heard, the recent recorded version of his groundbreaking song called – Zungguzungguguzungguzeng ,
Done by his arch-rival in the name of Beenie Man.
Beenie Man working with Jeremy Harding on this version of the song, which was released on Friday, July 3, 2020. Does acknowledge Yellowman, within the track as the original singer and King.
However, Yellowman has stated publicly that at the time he had not heard Beenie men's version of the song. But he had wished anyone else had produced their version of the song rather than Beenie man
"I wish somebody else did do Zungguzungguguzungguzeng, maybe Shaggy or Sean Paul," Yellowman told THE STAR. "Me nuh even hear it. Is a friend from England texted me and told me about it. Me have a saying, yuh always have a common mango trying to be an East Indian."

The song Zungguzungguguzungguzeng – allowed Yellowman to be crowned as the King of Dancehall Reggae back within the year of 1983 in Jamaica.
However, Yellowman had already become the first Dancehall Reggae music artist to gain a record deal with an American label – to be precise it was on Columbia Records in the year 1981. He released his first album on the record label that was Columbia Records called Mr. Yellowman in 1982.
Then he was to release his second album called – Zungguzungguguzungguzeng in 1983 – which made him a Reggae music superstar.

Yellowman also states during his interview with Jamaican Star.
“Look at it now. Bob Marley is the 'King of Reggae', Michael Jackson is the 'King of Pop', James Brown is the 'King of Soul', Elvis Presley is the 'King of Rock and Roll', and nobody not challenging that. Is only in dancehall yuh hear dem disputing this thing. Kartel seh him is 'King of Dancehall' and put out an album with that title,"
It looks like there is a rift between them, as Yellowman has admitted that they do not acknowledge one another when they have performed within the same show in the past!
"Me nuh deal wid him. It looks like dem did want to start a rivalry with me, but I am not into those things to stain my career," Yellowman said.

More light was put on the whole escapade when Beenie Man's manager, Rohan 'Blue' Smith, told THE STAR that it was the producer, Jeremy Harding, who reached out to them to record the song.
"He (Beenie Man) was asked, and he never hesitates to do it. Is not like him don't respect Yellow, but maybe Yellow feels otherwise," Smith said.
