This news brings a smile to many fans across the world who love the 1980s styles of Reggae music known As Dancehall.

Yellowman, during the 1980s, had legendary hits with tracks like.

I’m Getting Married in the Morning, Mad Over Me, Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt, Still Be a Lady, and finally, the track that created the legend that is Yellowman - Zunguzungguguzungguzeng.

Now we see after a 15-year return from his last album we are greeted with the man himself presenting his new album (2019). The album project included family members of his, contributing to the album's completion.

That being his daughter, K’reema, and his Son Kemo.

K’reema and Kemo helped with the producing, singing, and writing aspects of this musical project. His daughter K’reema was crucial in the creation of his first single, No More War, which she co-wrote with her father.

Even though we are still in the Worldwide pandemic Covid-19.

Yellowman states that he will now be continuing to promote his latest album via a series of a few “Visuals” from the album in regards to the promotion of a few singles from the same album - NO MORE WAR.

Yellowman states – “The difference between now and then is that I feel it has grown into a different dimension. It’s more accessible to the fans due to social media, and so visualizing the music is very important,” he explained to The Star - 25 SEPTEMBER 2020

Yellowman goes on to explain that his love of music and his love of his fans make him want to create more music.

Yellowman explains to The Star - 25 SEPTEMBER 2020.

“Purely the love for music and the demand from fans makes me continue. It elevates me from all the bad things I have been through growing up. It’s the biggest inspiration in my life. Music is simply my healing.”

Videos for the album are now already happening, with shoots being done in various locations across Jamaica.

Reggae music fans can expect to see these “VISUALS" shortly via the month of October 2020.

Yellowman, it must be stated, that he recently has not heard, the recent recorded version of his groundbreaking song called – Zungguzungguguzungguzeng

Done by his arch-rival in the name of Beenie Man.

Beenie Man working with Jeremy Harding on this version of the song, which was released on Friday, July 3, 2020. Does acknowledge Yellowman, within the track as the original singer and King.

However, Yellowman has stated publicly that at the time he had not heard Beenie men's version of the song. But he had wished anyone else had produced their version of the song rather than Beenie man

"I wish somebody else did do Zungguzungguguzungguzeng, maybe Shaggy or Sean Paul," Yellowman told THE STAR. "Me nuh even hear it. Is a friend from England texted me and told me about it. Me have a saying, yuh always have a common mango trying to be an East Indian."

The song Zungguzungguguzungguzeng – allowed Yellowman to be crowned as the King of Dancehall Reggae back within the year of 1983 in Jamaica.

However, Yellowman had already become the first Dancehall Reggae music artist to gain a record deal with an American label – to be precise it was on Columbia Records in the year 1981. He released his first album on the record label that was Columbia Records called Mr. Yellowman in 1982.

Then he was to release his second album called – Zungguzungguguzungguzeng in 1983 – which made him a Reggae music superstar.

Yellowman also states during his interview with Jamaican Star.

“Look at it now. Bob Marley is the 'King of Reggae', Michael Jackson is the 'King of Pop', James Brown is the 'King of Soul', Elvis Presley is the 'King of Rock and Roll', and nobody not challenging that. Is only in dancehall yuh hear dem disputing this thing. Kartel seh him is 'King of Dancehall' and put out an album with that title,"

It looks like there is a rift between them, as Yellowman has admitted that they do not acknowledge one another when they have performed within the same show in the past!

"Me nuh deal wid him. It looks like dem did want to start a rivalry with me, but I am not into those things to stain my career," Yellowman said.

More light was put on the whole escapade when Beenie Man's manager, Rohan 'Blue' Smith, told THE STAR that it was the producer, Jeremy Harding, who reached out to them to record the song.

"He (Beenie Man) was asked, and he never hesitates to do it. Is not like him don't respect Yellow, but maybe Yellow feels otherwise," Smith said.
